Overview

Our uniqueness in environment is reflected in our distinct provision geared to benefit the age appropriateness of students on each site.

The Senior campus is located at 10 Bentley Street and houses the Years 7-10s in a country garden setting. All regular high school facilities are on this site and include new state-of the-art Design and Technology Centre and equipment, as well as refurbished home-economic, art and science rooms. Bentley Street has developed distinctive programs designed to meet the needs of students in the early and middle adolescent phase of schooling and offers a unique transition to high school for upper primary students and pathways to both academic and vocational studies for high school students.  Our commitment to the senior primary years beyond standard provision is to provide engaging and challenging programs in Science, Design and Technology and Home Economics, delivered by specialists in specialist facilities. Our Lower secondary programs are all designed to prepare our students for the challenges beyond Year 10 whether the destination is tertiary studies, VET/Training or employment. Over both campuses we have strategies designed to cater for those at educational risk. These strategies target both those who find learning difficult and also our very best students who need challenges relevant to their context.

The School Principal, two Deputies, our Business Manager and school officers are based at Bentley Street and the school’s Associate Principal is based at the Mead Street campus, supported by a school officer.
